Most of the time, “new technology” is not actually new. It’s been developing – iteration following iteration, followed by more iteration – and over time, the new tech hits a tipping point that makes it something more practically powerful than just the original idea. I think that tipping point for AI assisted “deep fakes” in coming soon.
This video is created using a free service on the interwebs, combined with a little creative writing to approximate how a person might word something, and polished with some basic/advanced audio editing tools and expertise. Boom. Here it is.
